While we will not have the traditional opening ceremony this year, we do expect that people will be able to enjoy the club and grounds on the holiday weekend. It is critical that we continue to observe social distancing in adherence with NY on PAUSE and NY Forward ( https://forward.ny.gov/ ). The Nyack Boat Club is the destination for cruising and racing fun on the Hudson River. With a mooring field for 150 boats, including guest moorings, we offer everything from day and evening launch service, to Wednesday evening racing, to winter boat storage for members. We have active 1-,2-,3-, and 4-person One Design fleets with a full schedule of weekend and regatta racing programs. Through our Special Activity Memberships , we offer the Ideal Sailing Program , where you can sail, or learn to sail, on our Club-owned Ideal 18 sailboats. Along with Wednesday evening and Sunday afternoon racing programs, we also run regular cruising activities up and down the Hudson, offer strong educational and instructional sessions, a well-respected Junior Sailing program , and intertwined, many social activities .
